We are reaching out to you during a difficult time for Jake's family.

An unfortunate incident occurred in their apartment when a sprinkler system malfunctioned while "painters" were working on a leak. As water sprayed uncontrollably, the painters left without knowing how to handle the situation. By the time maintenance arrived and the fire department was called, water had already collected ankle deep throughout their home, damaging everything.

Sadly, the damage was extensive. Their belongings—everything from toothbrushes to bedding, furniture, toys, and clothes—were soaked and contaminated.

The management temporarily relocated them to a furnished two-bedroom apartment, (they normally rent a three-bedroom unit their father inlaw lived with them too) and have lost access to all their personal belongings.

AND to add to the stress, they pay an extra $60 a month for renters insurance, only to discover that the management had canceled it without their knowledge. This has left them without any financial protection during this devastating time.

As a family of four living paycheck to paycheck on a single income, this situation has created significant emotional and financial strain. They are now facing a long and challenging legal process to resolve these issues.
