Help Bring Jake Home to Say Goodbye to His Grandfather

We’re reaching out today with full hearts and a humble ask.

Our beloved patriarch, Jack is in the final stage of his journey—he’s been diagnosed with end-stage metastatic prostate cancer, and we’re doing our best to make his final days full of comfort, love, and peace.

Jack is more than a grandfather. He’s a decorated Navy veteran who served honorably during the Korean War. He was married to June—the love of his life—for 54 years before she passed. Together, they raised three sons and built a life centered on family, hard work, and quiet strength. Jack has always been a man of principle, kindness, and fierce loyalty. And now, we want to honor him by making sure those who love him most can say goodbye.

Our oldest son Jake, his grandson, lives out of state and is doing everything he can to come home one last time. But with two jobs and bills to pay, it’s not financially possible for him to make the trip without help.

We’re raising $1,265 to help cover:

• Round-trip airfare: $545.67

• Lost wages from taking time off (24 hours across two jobs): ~$720
