My name is Jakaliah, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve never truly had a place to call home. Growing up in foster care and facing homelessness has meant moving from place to place, never knowing what it feels like to have a space that’s really mine. I’ve always dreamed of having a home where I can feel safe, stable, and finally start building a future for myself.

Right now, I’m working hard to change my situation. I’m raising funds to help cover the costs of getting my own apartment and some basic furniture. Having a stable place to live would mean everything to me—it would give me the foundation I need to move forward and start a new chapter in my life.
