Hi, my name is Jai and I host a show called Wish You Were Here, where I honor my father's legacy by asking my community, "what's it like to be you?".

Right now, we’re in a mutual aid crisis. My community in Durham, NC is struggling. Social media is full of requests for help for rent, for food, for medication—necessities for a healthy life.

Between extreme weather, government harm, and a lack of resources, people are being pushed to the edge. I give what I can, but right now, I’m out of money.

So for my birthday, I’m raising $216. It’s my birthday number (02/16), and it’s an attainable number. Every dollar matters. One, five, ten, a hundred. And if we raise more than that, all of it will be given away too.

One hundred percent of these funds will be redistributed live during the launch of the new season of Wish You Were Here.
