I am starting this fundraiser to help my brother, Josh Shaw, and his family with unexpected medical bills and everyday expenses due to his wife not being able to work. She is looking at least a year recovery time if not longer.
Here is a little bit of what they are going through:
On March 3rd, our family’s life changed unexpectedly when Jaime Shaw was involved in an accident that resulted in a severe concussion.
Since then, Jaime has been suffering from post-concussion syndrome from her TBI and has been unable to return to work.
The recovery process has been difficult and ongoing, with frequent doctor appointments, cognitive and physical therapy, and many daily challenges that affect her health, memory, and energy.
She is continuing treatment and is scheduled to see a neurologist in July, as doctors work to better understand and manage her symptoms.
During this time, the financial strain from lost income, medical expenses, travel to appointments, and everyday bills has become overwhelming. We are asking for help to support Jaime and our family while she focuses on healing and recovery.
Any donation, no matter the amount, would mean so much to us. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser and keeping Jaime in your thoughts and prayers would also be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and generosity during this difficult time.
