Help Jai Get Life-Saving Treatment for CIPO

Donation protected
My cousin Naomi Edwards, a single mother of five children, needs your help with donations that can provide the necessary treatment and sustainability for her 15-year-old son Jai. He has been diagnosed with Chronic Intestinal Pseudo Obstruction, uncommonly known as CIPO. CIPO is a life-threatening, debilitating sickness that hospitalizes him for days and weeks at a time. Since 2019 Jai has had to undergo a myriad of emergency surgeries and testing. This sickness has traumatized him emotionally and psychologically and because of his condition he has also missed countless days of school causing him to sometimes feel disconnected and left behind. Naturally, Naomi remains at his bedside while her other children are cared for by family members and it is likely that she will have to take an unpaid leave from her job to get the quality care that is needed for Jai. It is both physically and emotionally demanding for the entire family and his diagnosis has advanced to the point where doctors feel he needs a very serious surgery. Since his condition is rare and the local hospitals are small, Naomi needs your help in getting a second opinion for Jai from the top specialists in the country at Boston Children’s Hospital whose specialty is treating CIPO. Your donation will help her with transportation, lodging, and other essential priorities for her and her family. Thank you in advance for your consideration. No donation is too big or too small. Thank you and God Bless.
