My name is Sibusisiwe Saidi, and proud mother to my talented 11-year-old son, Jaesen, from Harare, Zimbabwe. Music has been an integral part of Jaesen’s life since he was a baby. Whether he’s playing his guitar or singing with passion, his love for music is evident in everything he does.

For the past two years, Jaesen has devoted himself to auditioning for the Zimbabwe Children’s Choice Choir—a prestigious ensemble that showcases exceptional young talent and provides remarkable opportunities for its members. This choir has a history of nurturing young musicians, helping them gain exposure on international stages. Jaesen was finally selected this year. He will be among the 100 children from Zimbabwe traveling to Calella/Barcelona, Rome, and Paris in October 2025.

This trip represents a dream come true for Jaesen. Not only will it allow him to perform in some of the world's most iconic cities, but it will also provide invaluable experiences that will enhance his future high school applications. Being part of this choir will enable him to pursue his passion for music further and open doors to prestigious schools that can help shape his future.

However, this incredible opportunity comes with significant costs. The total expenses for the trip amount to $5,000, which covers travel, accommodation, and other necessary expenses. l am finding it a challenge to cover these costs, and that is why I am reaching out to you for support.
