Help Jaden & Vev Start Over in Safety

My name is Jaden, and I’m a single mom to my creative, nature-loving 3-year-old daughter, Vev. Over the past year, we’ve been living with her father, but the environment has become emotionally and financially abusive. With the support of loved ones, I’ve made the difficult decision to leave for our safety and well-being. We’re starting over, but the financial challenges are overwhelming.

Right now, I’m facing the possibility of having to pay a lease break fee and possibly another month’s rent just to leave. I also need to cover the cost of a Uhaul to move our belongings and buy groceries as we transition. We’ll be staying with family for now, but I’m determined to rebuild our lives. My goal is to find a work-from-home job so I can save up for a travel trailer and a truck, and eventually move out to the country to be closer to family and give Vev the peaceful childhood she deserves.

This experience has been incredibly hard, and I’ve done everything I can to shield Vev from the worst of it. But it’s difficult to be emotionally present for her when I’m focused on just getting by.
