My eldest sister Jade and her family have just lost their home in a devastating house fire in Gulgong, New South Wales.

Yesterday, an electrical fire started in their home and quickly took everything. This wasn’t just a house, it was a home they spent the last 10 years building from the ground up on their farm. It’s where they raised their five kids and built their life together over more than two decades.

Jade has been with her husband Adam for 21 years. As a family, they’ve already been through more than most. Two years ago, they lost their 15-year-old son Beau, a loss that has never left them.

Now, they’re facing the reality of losing their home as well.

Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, and they were able to bring Beau’s ashes with them. But everything else is gone.

As her brother, it’s incredibly hard to put into words what they’re going through right now. Jade is one of the strongest, most giving people I know, and seeing her and her family face this again is heartbreaking.

We’re raising funds to help them get through the immediate aftermath and start rebuilding. This includes essentials like clothing, food, temporary accommodation, and the long road ahead of rebuilding their home.
