We’re reaching out to support a wonderful family going through a tough time. Jacob, a devoted husband and father, was just released from the intensive care unit of the University of Washington Medical Center.

Jacob was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in June of 2024. The chemotherapy infusions resulted in severe reactions and kidney damage. He has spent several stays in the hospital, including colorectal surgery.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time he has battled this disease. He was diagnosed with Colitis at age 8 and then he was diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) at age 15. At 26, he received a liver transplant but was eventually diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease.

His family is standing by him with strength and love, but with the added costs of his care, any extra support would benefit him and his family.

Jacob's treatment means more time at the hospital and added expenses like food, gas for travel, and other everyday essentials. By raising funds, we hope to ease some of the financial stress so that his family can focus on supporting him and each other.
