Jacob had his second Hubbard Tank Whirlpool tissue debridement today with continued high levels of pain with debridement but he understands why.

He is continuing to receive OT/PT and has a NG Tube for nutrition.

His Surgery is scheduled for Wed. At 8:30 am for Donor Skin, Skin Grafting and ReCell treatment to his Chest Wall, Arm pits, Neck, Hands and arms.

He is still struggling with A lot of Fear and Anxiety from catching on fire and from high levels of pain. Seeing a Trauma Counselor.

Our beloved Jacob Ingram was critically burned in an accident while working.

He is currently in the ICU at Atrium Health Wake Forest Burn Center. He is being treated for 3rd degree burns on his chest, arms, hands, and face. He faces weeks in the ICU and then will prepare for multiple surgeries. Requiring months in the ICU/hospital.

His employer is doing everything they can to help Jacob with his medical bills. Which they are extremely grateful for.

However, he is in Winston Salem, NC, approximately 108 miles from Asheville, NC. Jay & Laura are doing whatever it takes to be with Jacob. Taking turns to be with Jacob. Having to take time off and driving hours to be with him, of which they wouldn't trade for anything.

I'm making this sight for them.... for their family. The Ingram's are the most kind, loving God loving people, who are going thru an extremely unimaginable time. They were uncomfortable about doing this. However, so many have reached out to help support them.... Being as he's in the ICU, he can't receive anything. If you can help this family supplement their expenses to help during the time, that would be amazing.

I will not share any photos of Jacob... out of respect for Jacob and his family. However, I will keep you posted of his progress. Jacob is an amazing person.... HE WILL ENDURE!
