I am making this GoFundMe on behalf of my mother-in-law. To know Jackie is to love her. And although she may not be someone important in your life, she is one of the most important people in many others' lives. This includes 5 kids and 9 grandchildren. She is the glue to our family.

Her life has been full of ups and downs. And recently, it feels like a lot of downs. Last year in September, she had a tragic fire and one of her beloved dogs passed away. She also lost a lot of her personal belongings. She was fortunate enough to be able to get approved for a house loan, and things started looking positive when she moved into her new home.

Shortly before moving, life took another turn. She was diagnosed with breast cancer. This is the beginning of a long journey for Jackie. After 3 surgeries, numerous hospital stays, 16 chemotherapy infusions, and a severe infection, she was able to go back to work 10-15 hours a week. Although most days are hard for her, she missed being a caregiver and her clients, so she went back to doing what she loves: taking care of people.

She recently started radiation after the chemo was unsuccessful and found out she now has stage 4 terminal cancer. This has made returning to work even harder.

She has struggled to keep up with her house mortgage as well as other bills due to her illness and limited ability to work. We have helped as much as we can but are asking for your help as well. She just recently got a foreclosure letter and is going to lose her home. We are asking for donations to keep a roof over her head and help with her bills until she is finished with radiation and able to work more hours. ❤️
