Jack Burgess, an 81-year-old resident of Batesville, Arkansas, has spent over 20 years building a home filled with love, memories, and stability for his family. Recently, an accidental fire destroyed everything he and his 16-year-old adopted son owned, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs. While we are deeply grateful that both Jack and his son escaped unharmed, the loss has been overwhelming. The fire not only took their belongings but also claimed the life of a beloved puppy, adding to the heartbreak.

Jack has always been the kind of person who puts others before himself, often helping strangers in need even when he had little to give. Now, after adopting four children and dedicating his life to caring for others, he finds himself in need of support. Jack and his son are currently staying with his adopted daughter in a small house, but they urgently need help to secure food, clothing, shoes, and a new place to call home.
