Jack Muni is 19 years old and currently battling stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma where he has multiple areas of melanoma both inside and outside of his brain.

Jack loves playing cricket for Knypersley Cricket Club, football, going on holidays and spending time with friends and family. Jack is a huge Newcastle United FC supporter and has been to St James Park on a couple of occasions.

Jack was first diagnosed with melanoma at just 12 years old, since then he has undergone several treatments:

· Immunotherapy
· Lung surgery
· Brain surgery
· Radical neck dissection
· Multiple cyberknife (radiotherapy) treatments to his brain
· Target therapy tablets

Throughout all of this Jack has remained positive, continuing to play sports whilst still trying to battle this horrible disease.

Unfortunately, there are now no standard treatments available, and Jack is now not eligible for clinical trials due to the active melanoma progression in his brain.

Jacks only option is to pay privately for immunotherapy, and this treatment is only available to him in London at The Royal Marsden Hospital.

To begin with Jack is being treated with a combination of 2 drugs; Ipilimumab and Nivolumab which are administered every 3 weeks, he will have 4 cycles of this treatment followed by just a single immunotherapy drug (Nivolumab) given monthly for up to a year.

Due to the treatment being private as it not available to him through the NHS, the cost of the 4 cycles is extremely high. Every donation will help towards the high cost of funding the immunotherapy along with the costs of travelling to and from London.

If you can donate no matter how big or small, our entire family would be extremely grateful.

Jack means the world to our family, and we will do everything in our power to fund this treatment for him.
