Hi everyone! My name is Sophia, and I’m making this GoFundMe for my best friend Izzy and her family. Izzy and I have been close friends for the past three years, and I’m beyond lucky to have such a selfless friendship in my life.

This month, Izzy is undergoing surgery to donate part of her liver to her mom, Janette. Janette has been struggling with Non-Alcoholic Cirrhosis (NASH) for the past two years and needs a liver transplant.

On October 27, Izzy will be undergoing surgery to give part of her liver to her mom. Recovering from an operation of this scale will require a lot of changes in the day-to-day. This GoFundMe will provide a financial support system for Izzy’s family as they navigate helping her and her mom recover while not working.
