Help Ivaylo & Pepa see family in Bulgaria

Hi, my name is Emily Smith and I’m fundraising on behalf of our friends Ivaylo and Pepa Nikolov who many of you know through the Roswell community and Roswell Presbyterian Church. In November 2023, Pepa learned news that her father had died suddenly and unexpectedly in her homeland of Bulgaria. Due to the holiday increases of travel cost, Pepa was not able to travel to her family or to be with them for her father’s funeral. Needless to say, Pepa was greatly saddened and distraught by this. Less than a month later, Ivaylo received the news that his mother had died in Bulgaria as well. Again, the family was unable to travel during the holiday season to be with their family and friends due to the exorbitant cost of airfare.

Now that their son Nicholas’s school year is nearly over and travel costs are somewhat lower, the Nikolov family has made plans to finally return to Bulgaria to visit their extended family and pay their respects to their parents as well as attend to estate issues that must be handled in person.

The journey to Bulgaria is expensive and will create quite an impact on the Nikolov’s finances. We are hopeful that many will want to assist this couple who has done so much to help and support so many of us in so many ways over the years— whether caring for our children or literally cleaning up our messes.
