My name is Itzel, and I am from Chihuahua, Mexico. My mom and dad came here to follow the American dream, “the land of the free.” Most of us know that lately, it hasn’t been such a dream for the people that aren’t born here. Recently, I got a call from my immigration lawyer telling me it’s my time to start my residency application for just a TINY fee of $4,500 plus an “immigration physical” with its maximum fee of $1,200….

I'm just here trying to raise as much money as possible to help with my fees. Picking up extra shifts, selling food, working extra jobs, etc.

Anything helps. I just want a chance to live in a place where I don’t have to worry about my immigration status. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much in advance :)

Mi nombre es Itzel y soy de Chihuahua, México. Mi mamá y mi papá vinieron aquí para seguir el sueño americano, “la tierra de la libertad ”. La mayoría de nosotros sabemos que últimamente no ha sido tanto un sueño para las personas que no nacieron aquí. Recientemente recibí una llamada de mi abogado de inmigración diciéndome que es mi momento de comenzar mi solicitud de residencia por una PEQUEÑA tarifa de $4,500 más un “examen físico de inmigración” con una tarifa máxima de $1,200….

Solo estoy aquí tratando de recaudar la mayor cantidad de dinero posible para ayudar con mis gastos. Tomando turnos extra, vendiendo comida, trabajando en empleos adicionales, etc.

Cualquier cosa ayuda, solo quiero una oportunidad de vivir en un lugar donde no tenga que preocuparme por mi estatus migratorio. Desde el fondo de mi corazón, muchas gracias de antemano :)
