Help Istanbul COC Disciples attend Church Retreat

Please support the Istanbul disciples to attend a 3-day spiritual retreat this June on the island of Büyükada, which is an hour away from Istanbul by ferry. The cost per disciple is approximately $115 USD. We are hoping to invite 15 disciples and close friends / former disciples of the church for a time of spiritual encouragement, lessons from the Bible, Christian contemplation and time of mutual encouragement and relationship building.

The total cost of the retreat from June 14-16 for the 15 participants (excluding the Gollands) will be approximately $1750 USD (~$2400 CAD - includes lodging and food for 3 days plus transportation). Any amount donated will be a great help to the Istanbul Church of Christ. We thank you very much for your generosity!

Background:

In June 2025, Ana and Barish Golland, former leaders of the Istanbul Church of Christ (2003-2010) are visiting the disciples in Istanbul on a missionary support trip sponsored by EMS (European Mission Society). The Gollands will be spending 2 weeks with the disciples, encouraging the disciples, meeting with each member of the church and leading a 3 day spiritual retreat with present and former disciples, and those open to studying the Bible.
