ISKF Monument, originally ISKF of Colorado Springs, began providing shotokan karate training in the southern Front Range of Colorado since 2007. Sensei Yaguchi looked after this dojo and made sure it grew and thrived.

Currently under Sensei Martin Vaughan and Assistant Instructors Monica Silva and John Smith III, ISKF Monument / Colorado Springs is a proud member dojo in the ISKF Mountain States Region.

As a small dojo dedicated to quality training, we appreciate donations to help us cover expenses, increase membership, and continue to thrive, providing traditional martial arts while positively influencing its members.

From the website of former head instructor Sensei Suzi Wong: The International Shotokan Karate Federation of Colorado Springs is an organization dedicated to personal growth through the traditional art of Karate. We help our students develop character and grow both physically and mentally. We believe everyone has the right to defend themselves and no one has the right to cause harm to others. Training karate is more than learning self defense. Karate is training for a lifetime - it improves health, self confidence and personal growth. When teaching we focus on responsibility, safety, fun and learning. Everyone can benefit by adding karate training to their life.
