Help Isaias and Stephanie start their family

Isaias and I have given our lives to ministry among the urban poor through our non-profit and church-based ministries. Because of our devotion to these callings, we had both individually put off marriage and starting families. We were thrilled when we finally found partners in one another with a shared dedication to our faith and ministry, and we married in August 2019.

Isaias and I found out that I was pregnant in June 2021 and were ecstatic to realize that we would soon become parents! We were devastated a few weeks later when I miscarried. Until that point, we had been trying to conceive for almost a year and had been unable to do so. We are ready to start our family, but because we are a little older, we have continued to be unsuccessful in conceiving since I miscarried last year.

We have consulted with two fertility centers and have been told that in vitro fertilization treatment is a good option for us, with a higher-than-average success rate for someone of my age.

Isaias and I are not wealthy by any means, but we both have full-time work, steady income, and some money saved to help us buy a home to raise our family. Most importantly, we have immense love for one another and we long for children to receive the overflow of that love. We do not want to start parenthood by being in debt due to the cost of fertility treatments.
