Isaac Camp, my brother, is 22 years old and just moved to Charleston, SC to start college at the American College of the Building Arts. He was hoping to study Historical Preservation of buildings and is very creative, so he was really excited about the opportunity to go to college and pursue his passion.

On his first night in his new apartment, a fire started in the unit above, and his apartment was damaged. Isaac lost everything: all his clothes, bedding, furniture, laptop, wallet, car keys, and other essentials. He had no renters insurance because he had just moved in, so nothing was covered. The only things he has left are his car, phone, and his childhood teddy bear, 'Little Bear.'

This is Isaac’s first time living independently, and my parents are helping him look for a new place to live and supporting him through this difficult time. The loss is estimated at around $8,000, and Isaac is left with almost nothing to start his college journey.

We are raising funds to help Isaac replace everything he needs to begin school, find a new apartment, and cover immediate expenses. This includes bedding, clothes, furniture, and other essentials lost in the fire. Any donation, big or small, or even sharing his story, will make a huge difference.
