As many of you know, I spend quite a bit of time at Baan Eurphon Chumphon in Southern Thailand.

Before I go, I usually hold a fundraiser to raise money for whatever their needs are. This trip, however, I do not have the time or resources, so I decided to create a GoFundMe.

I will personally take every dime donated to them myself on September 2nd.

There is a Thai mom and dad and some episodic volunteers, and they house and feed 80 people. They also send kids to school. Those kids need uniforms and supplies.

Their biggest need right now is help paying for supplies and labor to finish installing an irrigation system for their garden. The cost for that is $600. Vegetables are not something that get donated, so they are growing their own and selling the remainder. They have staggered the planting so the supply is consistent. There is a picture of two of the kids selling the vegetables from a cart.

Other needs that crop up all the time are food for the horses that they use for equine therapy. The horses teach kids how to trust again. That amount is $160, and the food will last two and a half to three months.

The little girl in the picture with the bandaged hand was born with six fingers and had to have one removed. Thailand has socialized medicine, but the hospital capable of this surgery is five hours away, and there have been travel costs.

The young man laying down in the hospital bed has thalassemia and needs frequent transfusions. His siblings also have it but he seems to be in the worst shape.

They also have a thrift store and coffee shop. The coffee shop needs ingredients for baked goods and for the coffee beans. They are currently growing their coffee to use in the coffee shop, but the beans are far from ripe, likely months or years away.

If anyone has any questions, please send me a message and ask away.

A little goes a long way in Thailand, so whatever you donate will be put to good use. I will keep everyone updated on expenditures with pictures.
