We are reaching out for your support in helping Ingrid, a mother who has been placed in ICE detention due to driving without a license. At the time of her arrest, she had her three-year-old child with her, and now he is in the custody of the State of Ohio.

Ingrid is seeking to post bail so she can have the opportunity to reunite with her son and prove to the State of Ohio that she is a fit and loving mother. Her ultimate goal is to return to Guatemala with her child. However, because her son is a U.S. citizen, Ohio will only release him to a legal guardian with legal status in the United States. Since no one in her family has legal status, Ingrid is the only person who can retrieve her son from state custody.

We are asking for donations to help Ingrid post bond and be released so she can fight for the right to be with her child. Any amount will make a difference in giving her the chance to reunite with her son and return home together.
