Help Imogen Get to Kenya!

Hi! My name is Imogen, I’m 14 years old and I study at Angmering School. I’ve been given an amazing opportunity to spend 4 weeks in Kenya on a life-changing trip with Camps International — an organisation that empowers students through hands-on experiences that support sustainable development in the communities they work with.

During my time in Kenya, I’ll be helping to build schools, teach English, and support local children’s education. This project will make a real difference by giving Kenyan children access to safer learning spaces and more educational opportunities, helping to create lasting change in their community.

For me, this trip is about so much more than travel — it’s a chance to help others while learning and growing myself. I’ll have the opportunity to share stories about life in England, learn about Kenyan culture, language, and traditions, and build real connections with people whose lives are very different from mine.

Personally, I’ll gain so much too — confidence, independence, teamwork skills, and a deeper understanding of the world around me. This experience will help me grow into a more caring and capable person, and I’ll also earn a qualification at the end of the trip, which will help me in my future studies and career.

To make this possible, I need to raise a large amount through sponsorship. My family is doing all they can — working extra hours, running cake sales, car boots, and doing sponsored walks, swimming and bike rides but with a bit of extra help, I can get one step closer to achieving my dream.

Every donation, big or small, will bring me closer to Kenya and to helping make a lasting difference in children’s lives there. Thank you so much for your kindness and support — it truly means the world to me!
