Help Ianna Gail Carillo Fight Rabies in the Philippines

Hi! I am Ianna Gail Carillo. I am an incoming junior at Bridgeport High School. My family and I are visiting the Philippines (my parents' country of origin) this coming summer 2025, which will be my first time. Although I haven't been there, the country is close to my heart as it is part of my heritage.

In the Philippines, rabies remains a deadly and heartbreaking disease, claiming the lives of thousands of people and animals every year. Most victims are children and the elderly, the poor and marginalized who do not have access to care. This tragedy is made worse because rabies is 100% preventable with timely vaccination. Last year, 400+ Filipinos died from this preventable disease. Since this vaccine is rather expensive, supply is very limited and thus the majority of the patients cannot get it.

That is the very reason why I started this Pawtection PH charity project!

100% of the funds I raise will be used to purchase rabies vaccines that will be donated to the Animal Bite Clinic in a rural hospital (Oslob District Hospital) where my mom used to work.

My goal is to raise at least $2500, which will vaccinate 367 patients and ultimately save these 367 lives.
