Donation protected
Were Kortni and Kursten. We grew up as Ian Bailey being just like our big brother( kursten) and cousin (Kortni) Ian is best with friends Payton who is our brother and cousin. Ian became family at a very young age. We really don't remember life without him.
Ian is a 21 year old. He is also the primary care giver for his mother. Ian is a great person with a big heart, he's the kind of guy you can count on for anything. If you need help Ian is there. He is a hard worker and always give 100%
Now on to the reason for this go fund me.
Ian was in a bad accident at work on Friday September 6th. Where an amusement park type ride called the teacups fell on him a 2 others. He was lifeflighted from the scene to Parkview, in Fort Wayn, IN with multiple skull and miltiple face fractures, a brain bleed, shoulder broken in 3 places and his optical nerve was severely damaged along with many other injuries.
Over night friday into Saturday Ian lost sight in his right eye. They ran a camera through his main artery to look at his eye. The decision was made to air transport him to Indy. Sunday morning Ian was taken in for a surgery that had a 50/50 success rate would restore his vision. While in there the also fixed the bone fragments that were putting pressure on his brain. Causing him to think he was on the sidelines at a Crestview game from high school.
Ian now has vision butbis very blurry and is talking very well compared to the last few days. He is doing better with each passing day! We are so blessed to have him with us still.
God has Ian and Ian is the strongest kid. He just has a VERY long road ahead of him.
Ian's mom has Cerebral Palsy. She uses a wheel chair to get around and will be staying in a hotel near by to be close to him. This hotel is paid for already but we know she has other needs as well. Then when Ian comes home he will have needs he needs met along with everyday bills. We want to ease his stress as much a possible so he can focus on healing. Any little bit helps! Prayers and shares would be greatly appreciated as well!. We set the goal at 5,000 but hope to exceed that to make Ian feel loved and supported.
All proceeds will go to Ian and his Mom.
Thank you
