Hi, my name is Tashana Swaby. I was born and raised in Jamaica, and most of my family still resides there.

As many of you may have seen in the news lately, Jamaica was hit with a Category 5 hurricane. The aftermath is beyond something words can't explain. The island of Jamaica has never experienced such a disaster.

Many families are left homeless—I'm talking in the thousands—in the western part of the island. Unfortunately, this is where I am from. I am here asking for your donations to buy food, mostly perishable items, and clothing to send there. The items will be shipped, and I will then travel to Westmoreland and hand them out myself to those affected the most.

Whatever you give will be appreciated, and I am sure the people who receive the items will be grateful. God bless.
