My Name Is Reham I built my home with great effort and hardship, taking over ten years of continuous work, long hours, and accumulating debt. Our home was our refuge, a place filled with love and dreams for a better future.
But with the onset of the ground war in the Gaza Strip, our area became engulfed in fire and random shelling, leading to the destruction of our beloved home. After that, we were forced to move six times, searching for refuge in unsuitable places where we faced constant threats, evacuation orders, and danger day and night.
Today, we live in a dilapidated tent on the street, surrounded by others in similar conditions. These tents lack basic necessities, and epidemics and diseases are widespread.
The worst part is that my husband and family were killed in this disaster, leaving me with only my two-year-old child. My normal life has been taken from me, and we are now living under intolerable conditions, struggling to provide even the basics for my child.
Our dream is simple: to return to our life before this devastating war, to rebuild our beautiful home, and to provide our child with education, safety, and stability. This is our only hope.
"With your support, we can transform from suffering to hope."
I have lost so much, my husband passed away and My Family, and I lost my home, but I have not lost hope and the will to face life with courage and determination. It's a story of struggle, resilience, and hope in a time of pain and destruction.
So ends my story, but it is not a true ending, it is the beginning of a new journey, where humanity can show its most humane side and leave a mark in the lives of those who suffer. It's a call for giving and solidarity, to extend a helping hand and contribute to rebuilding hope and life for those who have lost everything.
