My name is Huda, and I am a mother of four children: Abdelkarim, Nour, Heba, and little Ezz. For years, my husband Mohamed and I worked hard to build a peaceful and dignified life for our family in Gaza.

​Before the crisis, I was a proud business owner. I poured my heart and soul into creating my own small beauty salon. It was more than just a job; it was my dream, my creative space, and the sole source of income that allowed us to provide for our children’s needs and future.

​Everything changed in an instant. Our home was destroyed, and my beloved salon was reduced to rubble. We lost everything we spent a lifetime building. We have recently managed to reach safety in Egypt, but we have arrived with absolutely nothing. We are starting from zero, facing the daunting challenge of securing basic necessities like food, clothing, and a safe roof for our children.
