My name is Yasser, and I am a Palestinian living in Belgium. I would like to share this fundraising initiative on behalf of my second cousin, Huda Shubair. Please read below to learn about Huda’s story and how you can help.

Hello, my name is Huda, I am 19 years old, an Arabic speaker from Gaza, Palestine. I was living with my family in our house until December 9, 2023, when we were displaced from our house to the Al-Mawasi area and lived the most difficult days there. We lived in a tent that we made of nylon and wood that did not protect us from the cold of winter or the sun of summer, as there was no food, no water, no electricity, and no life.

By the way, I am an orphan girl. When I lost my father, I was 12 years old. Now, during the period of war, siege, and the closure of crossings, our financial situation has become very difficult. There is no one to support me and my family. I used to love life and excel in my studies. My dream was to complete my studies, but the war destroyed this dream. Today, I call on the world to help me complete and achieve my dreams. Your help will make a big difference.

Now I hope that my voice will be heard and that you will help me complete my studies and support my family. I hope that you will hear my appeal and take it into consideration and spread hope in achieving dreams.

My family consists of 7 members: Ihsan (53), Saleh (37), Raneem (24), Youssef (30), Nihal (29), Noor (21), and Huda (19).

This money will be used to cover the huge expenses in light of the crazy price hikes, to support my family, as well as to make repairs to our destroyed house.
