We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to connect with nature and build a healthy, sustainable life. Our land provides a safe and supportive space for anyone oppressed by the patriarchy (including femme, trans & nonbinary individuals) to connect with nature, learn about sustainable living, try out new skills, and build community.

HOWL Vermont Women’s Land Trust is a multigenerational community that has preserved acres of farmland, meadow and forest in rural Vermont for nearly 40 years. If you come to HOWL, you might hike, camp, or build something; share a skill in a workshop or learn something new; make a fire, watch a sunset or have a conversation.

We need your help to keep this going! A donation of any size will help us to:

Fix up our barn for activities including writers workshops, community art nights, movie nights, wellness fairs and more.

Farm vegetables, herbs, and soon, nut trees!

Provide the residents of our historic home with the funds they need to maintain the property, including the campsites.

Preserve the land for future generations.

If you are interested in HOWL but can’t donate money, you can still support us by visiting, attending events, hosting workshops, or even just sharing this post.

We hope to see you around :)
