Help Hotel Albatross Staff

Hotel Albatross has officially closed its doors after proudly serving the Ballard community for over 8 years. For many, the space was more than a bar and music venue, it was a beacon of safety and community. Throughout all of the good times and late nights, the staff has worked hard to provide a truly unique experience that we are certain will be sorely missed.

The current staff, especially, has worked hard to "re-restore" Hotel Albatross into its final iteration, and unfortunately will not have an opportunity to see it reach its fullest potential. With the business closing with such short notice, the staff is collectively asking for our community's help one last time.

We are asking for your help to raise funds to allow us to transition into new jobs as we enter the new year.

January is an especially hard time for most bars and restaurants, as most consider the month to be a "slow period" for business. This means most places are hesitant to hire new employees until overall sales begin to improve. There are currently five employees on staff and all funds that are raised will be evenly divided. Moreover, if you are in a capacity to hire and someone on staff fits your needs, please reach out to be connected to them.

Who we are:

Will (Lead Bartender)- Will has been at Hotel Albatross for well over 5 years. Responsible for all of the signature drinks on the menu, incredibly passionate and knowledgeable on cocktails and mixology. Responsibilities also included weekly orders and receiving.

Anthony (Barista and Bartender)- Anthony has been at Hotel Albatross for 4 years. Ran Long Lost Coffee Bar in the mornings and bartended on the weekends. Responsibilities included weekly orders and social media for Long Lost and Hotel Albatross.

Jake (Chef)- Joined our team in October and created a brand new food menu from scratch. Jake is a strong, self-directed, organized, and incredibly talented chef.

Landrie (Bartender and Barback)- Landrie has been with Hotel Albatross for one year. In one year, Landrie has shown incredible growth as a strong bartender and barback.

Tristan (Bartender and Barback)- Tristan has been with Hotel Albatross for almost 4 years. During this time, he has grown into a strong bartender and barback.
