I am starting a GoFundMe campaign for my buddy Chris Hopper, who has spent several months out of work for medical reasons. He went in to surgery a month ago and had to spend a month in the hospital as he was recovering. He's back at home and continues to recover. He could you use some addition funds to get by until he can return to work.

Here are some words from Chris Hopper:

Hello everyone, I hope all is well. This is an update to the surgery I had on the 30th of July. What was supposed to be a 3-hour surgical procedure and a three day stay in the hospital turned into a 5-hour surgery with complications. I was in the hospital for 26 days. During that time, I had two more surgical procedures done. I was not able to eat for 8 days and was put on a feeding tube until I was able to eat again. I have been released from the hospital, I am doing well, and recovering from this whole ordeal.

For those of you who are curious, the medical condition I had is called Diverticulitis. It led to recurring infections for a year and half. I finally decided on the surgery and it was the right decision.

Since being released from the hospital, my sense of taste is starting to come back. I have an appetite and I'm eating solid foods. Everyday I'm taking walks and building up my strength.

Since May 5th 2025, I have been unable to work because of health reasons before my surgical procedure.

I am reaching out to ask for financial help with my medical bills, food bills, etc... These funds help me get through these challenging times in my life.
