Help HOPE Ornaments Deliver Smiles This Holiday

This will be the 19th annual HOPE Ornaments drive this year. I can't think of a better way to start this year's drive than to raise some funds on my birthday to purchase ornaments and supplies. Please help me make my goal to reach $1,500 for HOPE Ornaments through my birthday fundraiser. Every donation counts no matter how big or small.

HOPE Ornaments gathers, packages, and delivers holiday ornaments to patients spending their holiday season in the hospital and assisted living centers since 2007. Thousands of children and adults spend their holidays in the hospital battling life threatening illnesses such as Cancer, Lupus, Epilepsy, Alzheimer's and Heart Disease.

HOPE Ornaments 2024 was a success and we donated ornaments to over 5,000 patients in Illinois hospitals, assisted living centers and the child advocacy centers. Thanks to team at HOPE Ornaments, the staff at the hospitals, Shaw Contract, our volunteers, those who donated to our cause to purchase ornaments, those who donated ornaments, and the essential worker to help make is happen. To protect the patients as well as our volunteers, we teamed up with the nurses at each hospital and they were able to deliver them to the patients, letting them pick an ornament to keep. The feedback we received and witnessed about how the patients were lifted up by being able to choose an ornament that reminded them of home and loved ones. With the pandemic still in our everyday lives along with other illnesses, HOPE Ornaments is looking to bring holiday joy to those spending this holiday season in the hospital

HOPE Ornaments visits hospitals throughout Illinois, bringing the patients a little joy to their day by giving them their own HOPE ornament to choose and keep. Please help us reach 8,000 or more ornaments to donate to patients this 2025 holiday season. A complete list of hospitals we deliver to is available upon request. HOPE Ornaments begins delivering to hospitals mid-December and continues through Christmas Day.

Hospital and assisted living centers have begun to reach out wanting to continue the tradition of HOPE Ornaments. This was the best feeling in the entire world to know that the staff recognizes how much these ornaments bring HOPE and love to those in need. We received ornaments from 39 states and 4 countries in 2021.
