Help Honor Woody with the Woody Mobile
My name is Barry Twomey and I am President of the Mission Hill Health Movement, the oldest community organization in this neighborhood of Boston. We have been helping to improve health in our neighborhood for 60 years

Lt Colonel Enoch Woodhouse, a celebrated Tuskegee Airman, was recently promoted to brigadier general by the Governor of Massachusetts.
We would like to honor Woody by restoring his 2007 Mercury Marquis that has been sitting in a garage for over 5 years. It has low miles and would need to be towed to a shop, have all the fluids drained and replaced, new tires, a battery, and inside and outside TLC.
Then we will buy the car from Woody and turn it into the “Woody Mobile” that will be used to drive and escort people from medical procedures that require an escort. Many people, particularly seniors, have no one to help them and unfortunately delay or cancel their appointments and procedures that include colonoscopies, endoscopies, pain clinic, and chemotherapy. This is a serious problem for seniors and others who need this service.
I am privileged to call Brigadier General Woodhouse my friend and neighbor for 30 years. He practiced law until he was in his 80s and provided Pro Bono representation to those in need.
I am honored to sponsor this fundraiser in honor of this exceptional man.
