It is with great sadness that I am making this post. My sister lost her husband, Zach Voice, last night to chronic pancreatitis.

Zach was a proud Marine vet, sacrificing his own health and safety from 2009-2015, for all of our security back home.

As proud as he was of his service, he was most proud to be a DAD. His girls gave him purpose and sunshine on many dark days.

Zach did not have an easy life. He lost both of his parents before the age of 20, forcing him to grow up fast and carry burdens most of us can't imagine. Even with all his hardships, he found purpose in his service as a Marine and in the family he built with the woman he loved.

Tragically, heartbreak seems to follow this family. Zach passed away on the exact same date that his wife's father died—one year apart. With both of their parental anchors gone and no extended support system to lean on, Zach and his wife only had each other.

Zach gave so much—his service, his strength, and his heart. In honoring him, we hope to give his girls the security he worked so hard to provide.
