On May 1, our family experienced an unimaginable tragedy when my sister lost her life in a senseless act of violence. She was taken from us far too soon, and our hearts are broken as we try to come to terms with this loss. My sister was a bright light in our lives—her kindness, laughter, and spirit touched everyone she met. She was a beloved daughter, sister, TT, and granddaughter, cherished deeply by our mom, dad, all of her sisters, and the entire family. We want to honor her memory in a way that reflects the love and joy she brought to those around her.
