The family of Joseph Paddock & Deanna Della Porta Paddock are reaching out for support after a terrible tragedy resulting in the loss of Joe Paddock this past Saturday.
Joe was an extraordinary person who touched the lives of many. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, dedication, and an unwavering passion for his wife and children. Joe was born to be a dad, a tower of strength and to give whenever he could to all who needed it. His compassion for children and animals has always been without end. Deanna never knew when a new dog he found in need would be waiting for her when she arrived home. Joe has repeatedly walked in from work with ducks, chicks, bunnies, a parrot, puppies at any given time when he felt his wife or children needed a lift or something new to love. We often joked that one day we all expected and would not be surprised to find a giraffe roaming in the back yard.
Everyone encouraged and believed Joe was born to be a chef. His talents in the kitchen, meticulously devoted hours challenging himself to new dishes, feasts to please his entire family was his inner joy in life. He was famously known for his smoked brisket, dry rubbed ribs and baked beans. Every holiday, family event or special birthday he was hard at work behind the grill or smoker, his kitchen he took such great pride in or in between mixing up the best margheritas to be sure every person around him had their favorite of whatever that may be. He blessed his son Dominic's wishes just a short ten days ago by presenting nothing short of a fantastic day with family celebrating Dominic's First Holy Communion. Being a very busy man always working, building a bright future with his business and supporting his family he may have been swayed to celebrate in a function room but his son wanted smoked brisket and that is what he got. It was an amazing day filled with joy, laughter, photographs, story telling, hugs, food and family. A truly blessed day as we all were unknowing to the tragedy that was soon to follow, he had a wonderful day but more importantly to him a picture perfect day for his wife, children and family.
A young father to his eldest children Nestle and Rudy he worked tirelessly to provide for them. Upon meeting Deanna he admitted only to her as he was an extremely private person that he was in love with her the first week they had met. Deanna and Joe shared a love for one another that everyone dreams of finding. They were one another's best friend and greatest support in life. Joe would look at Deanna with this glow in his eyes, infinite love and devotion. There was nothing he would not give or do to see her smile as she loved him just as much. They joined as a family in marriage in 2011. The following years have been nothing short of a triumph. Each building and striving more and more day after day to create a life many wish for.. Two more beautiful children added Dominic and Olivia making this family whole.
Joe and Deanna purchased their dream home a short 4 years ago and have been making it a home a little at a time, piece by piece. Recently feeling some sense of all the plans they made beginning to fall into place there has been a sense of accomplishment, pride and joy Joe was exhuming and not ever known to bestow upon himself. His son Rudy in the Navy brought him happiness and pride. Joe had a love for his country, always a flag waving proudly. Knowing his son grew into an incredible young man serving our country filled his heart. Nestle, his eldest daughter was recently engaged this past November. She began a career as a postmaster and the plans were in motion for a celebration. Joe loved every one of his children with his whole heart but his girls were his girls. Thrilled for Nestle he was also struggling that she had become a young woman about to begin a journey he didn't think would come so quickly in life. Dominic and Olivia are his youngest. They are left as young children who can barely comprehend the horror of this loss. Left to learn to live without a Dada. It's nothing short of feeling enraged of what these children are experiencing. Navigating life without their father's presence and support. This sudden loss leaves a significant void in their lives as well as the loss of a life long love for Deanna.
Joe was a proud, hard working individual who asked for nothing in return other than security and happiness for his family. This GoFundMe campaign has been created to honor Joe's memory and support his endless efforts to keep his wife and children in the life he created for them .
Please consider donating any amount you wish. If you are unable to donate , please keep the family and friends close to your hearts always. Sharing this GoFundMe with all who knew Joe, Deanna and his family would be greatly appreciated.
You are encouraged to leave a comment below sharing your favorite memory of Joe. These messages will be a source of comfort and strength for his family in the days and years ahead. We thank you as a family for all of the support and kindness during this time.
