Help Honor Coach Butch Brown at the Wakefield Ballfields

Hello Friends, our dear teammates!

It’s Bonny and Christy Young here, and we are asking for your help!

Have you heard about all the new additions to the Wakefield Ballfields? They have a pavilion now with bathrooms and covered seating, storage, and plans for a concession stand. A new playground is to be built sometime this year. The Parks & Rec has a nonprofit organization called the “Friends of Wakefield Parks and Recreation” who are helping raise money to enhance the Ballfields. They are offering memorial plaques to be displayed on the pavilion building for those who donate and would like to honor, memorialize a family member/community member.

Our goal is to raise $1,000 for a plaque for our beloved coach, Butch Brown.

Any extra money received will be put towards plaques to honor more of our coaches, such as Ken Burker, Peggy Richards, Barry Thompson and Debbie Fogg.
