Help Honor Charlie's Memory and Support His Wife

Our beloved Charlie (Charles Berg). He was full of wit, charm, and probably chocolate. If he loved anything more than fishing, hunting, his dogs, and his Wife, it would be sweets. Though, my chicken noodle soup would probably take second place.

He would be rolling his eyes right now if he saw his name on a gofundme. He’d tell us to stick him in the backyard to save money on a funeral. In fact, I’m pretty sure that was an actual conversation . He always found a way to bring humor to any topic, even the more serious ones. It’s one of the things we will miss most about him. My mom especially; Charlie’s wife.

As Charlie’s Wife grieves the unexpected loss of her husband, she will soon face the grievances of accrued medical bills, the house, and the expenses associated with ensuring Charlie gets the proper goodbye or “see you later”, he deserves. As I am her only daughter, I will support her the best I can, but any help is greatly appreciated as Charlie didn’t work, and doesn’t have any children to help with extra expenses. My mom is faced with the costs, alone.

Even the smallest amounts are appreciated, as it all adds up so quickly! Everyone deserves to grieve without the extra burden of bills they can’t pay. I would like to give that to her. Let’s let her focus on the memories they shared and the light and laughter he brought to those around him.
