Asia has been with me since I was four years old. She moved with me through different states and houses, always by my side before I even started school. When I had no one else to hang out with, Asia was there, curling up next to me and purring, making me feel comfortable and loved. From the day I picked her out at the shelter, I knew she was special, and she’s been my companion through every chapter of my life.

Just today, I found out that Asia has hyperthyroid, diabetes, and kidney disease. The vet told me she’s suffering every minute she’s here, and the kindest thing I can do is to let her go soon. It’s heartbreaking to say goodbye on such short notice, but I want to give her the dignity and love she deserves in her final moments.

I’m raising funds to cover the costs of her cremation and vet care. I need to have a part of her with me because she’s been my childhood companion, and I can’t imagine losing all of her. If you’ve ever had a childhood pet, you know how much they mean to you, but you really don’t know how much they’ve impacted your life until they’re gone.
