Hi friends, My family and I are hoping to raise funds to help my mom plan a celebration of life for her identical twin sister, who was taken from us far too soon by pancreatic cancer. Losing her twin has been devastating, and my mom’s biggest wish is to honor her sister’s memory the way she deserves. Unfortunately, venues and arrangements are expensive, and my parents have faced a difficult year—my Dad has been battling cancer himself and another serious health issue at the same time, which has placed a heavy burden on my parents. My mom was unable to attend her twin’s funeral as she passed the night before a big surgery for my dad and they were states apart. My mom torn between needing to be by her sisters side in her final day's and also with my dad because she knew she needed to be by my dad’s side during his treatments. This celebration of life would give her the chance to finally say goodbye, surrounded by family and friends who loved her sister so dearly. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world and help us give her sister, my aunt the beautiful tribute she deserves.
