Help Honduran Kids with WGO's Vital Work
Donation protected
Hello Family & Friends,
My name is Ishynae. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to go to Honduras this summer. Alongside WGO, an amazing organization that receives legal guardianship of abused and abandoned at-risk kids from the Honduran government and raises them. I will be going alongside an amazing group of multi-skilled individuals. Specifically, I will be assisting with their youth, an area that many of you know I thrive in, as I’ve been trusted with your children as well. I am beyond grateful to have been chosen to aid in a mere fraction of assisting in a third-world country. I’m set to leave early July.
Outreach Goal:
From teaching, sewing, plumbing, building, medical teams, and other necessary improvements, the Outside the Boat International (OTBI) program team will assist in our different areas of skill. Here’s a statement from the WGO objective: “All children at the Ranch are under the legal authority of the Honduran government organization called SENAF (National Secretariat for Childhood, Adolescence, and Family). SENAF places children under the care of WGO at Rancho Ebenezer, but WGO receives no funds from the Honduran government for the care of children. The ministry pays for and provides for the complete care and education of each child for the duration of their time living here. Most kids who come to live at the Ranch stay until they graduate high school.
In addition to K-12 education at our on-campus school, the Ranch provides a vocational education program through which children are provided work opportunities and are taught job skills and work ethic. Our graduates have served their society in schools, Christian ministry, and business.”
Donations/Support:
Your support would be greatly appreciated. I am required to raise a total of $2000. Fortunately, that has been dramatically decreased by more than half! NOW I AM ONLY RESPONSIBLE TO RAISE $700! Amen!!! The expenses covered would include my flight, meals, housing, travel, and such. All forms of checks are accepted and do qualify to be tax-deductible. Checks are to be made out directly to the organization (contact me for assistance). Every donation receives a personal response card that I’ll be sending out. My deadline is June 1st, latest June 5th.
Any contribution is valued. Thanks so much in advance. Feel free to reach out to me with your email for updates and detailed insight into what’s in store.
With Gratitude, Ishynae
