Today I met a single mom named Peaches at Walmart.

I asked her if she had dropped a diamond ring. Even though she could have really used it, she told me the truth that it wasn’t hers.

So I gave her $1,000.

She immediately broke down in tears and shared her story.

Peaches and her two sons are facing homelessness after their home burned down, and their father passed away. She has no car, no money for groceries, and is doing everything she can to hold her family together.

And still she chose honesty.
