Please click on the above link to view today's journey down Hollie's driveway.  Please please find it in your heart to give to this wonderful lady.  I saw her tonight and you have no idea how dedicated this lady is to helping the community with anything from cats, horses, dogs, and I have no idea how many individuals she has helped that may have needed a meal, an ear to listen, or just to ask her to pray for them.   She spends countless hours helping with the physical part of animal rescue as well as the communication and transport side of rescue.  She has fostered animals, transported animals, house sits for people who have animals, and the list goes on.  Basically, she is one of the most kind-hearted women that I know. She gives so much of herself to others and she never asks for anything in return. That is not Hollie.  It took some convincing to get her permission to start this fundraiser. So please, as a Facebook family, an animal-loving family, a part of the human race that wants to do good for others, please give if you can.  As we have mentioned before, there is no amount too small. If you cannot give, as many cannot with the economic times that we have, but hitting the share button is free. Please understand that timing is critical with the driveway.  Bad weather is here, she will need propane to heat her house and cook with and as you may have read, the gas company has refused to deliver any more gas until the driveway has been made safe. I heard a family member tell her tonight that she hopes and prays that we can get this done so that they can go visit her again.  They are afraid of her driveway.  It is very unsafe for them and for Hollie. Hollie has no choice this is her home, and she has to travel it multiple times a day hoping and praying that she makes it every single time we get rain and the driveway turns into a  treacherous path. Please can you help?

Imagine being afraid of your own driveway. Imagine feeling so defeated that you cannot see any way out of a situation. Imagine you are a single parent of 3 boys and 1 of the boys has a medical condition that could be life-threatening at any point of the day or night.  Imagine working 70 hours a week just to make sure that you can keep a roof over their heads and food on the table.  Imagine being left with a home that was going to be the dream home that you were supposed to live in for the rest of your life. Imagine that life and dream now being your sole responsibility to pay for alone. Imagine your dream home being a place that now is a heavy burden at the same time when you are alone with a limited income.

Hollie Cirrito has been in animal rescue of all kinds, horses, cats, and dogs, since about 1992. She is always willing to go the extra mile to help those who call her any time of day or night for human or animal needs. She puts everyone and everything ahead of herself and does this with a shepherd's heart. She is one of the most humble, hard-working, independent women I know.  But as we all know there is a breaking point for even the strongest people.  She is at her breaking point now so much so that when the weather starts to get bad, she almost breaks into tears knowing what she will have to face both leaving her house to go work and returning home.

There is a section of the driveway to Hollie's home that is treacherous.  When it rains, the driveway becomes a dangerous mud trail making it very unsafe for her, and if she were to have an ambulance come to her house, they would not be able to get down the driveway. I want to help Hollie get this very expensive project done. She has agonized, cried, prayed, and attempted to handle this by herself long enough. She has helped so many people throughout the years, and it is time that we all pay it forward.

It will take hours of bulldozer work and around 15-20 loads of crushed concrete to get her driveway done correctly. Her parents are not able to even go to her house because they are afraid of the driveway and the issues it can cause. Any amount will help get her to reach the goal which is what the estimate is. Time is of the essence to get "Project Hollie's Driveway" completed so she can get one worry off of her mind. Thank you in advance for any amount you can donate. She has a person that is ready to start on it as soon as we can raise some funds. So open your heart, open your mind, and open your pocketbooks, please. It always is a blessing when you help others.

Please follow the updates on this project.  Please share this as often as you can. Please tag anyone that you know that can help.
