Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of sharing meals, stories, and laughter with Hispanic friends who came to the US seeking a better life. My family’s time in Texas showed me just how many people live in fear, even as they strive for a brighter future. Everywhere they went, they saw people being detained by ICE, a constant reminder of the risks so many face.

That’s why I’m starting this fundraiser. I want to use the money raised to help cover legal fees, application costs, and any other expenses that stand in the way of good people gaining US citizenship. Every dollar will go directly toward helping those in need take the next step toward a safer, more stable life.
