Help het Wheelchair Skillsteam er weer bovenop

Hallo allemaal, mijn naam is Miranda Slaats. Ik vraag uw aandacht voor het Wheelchair Skillsteam. Een super team van ervaringsdeskundigen die andere volwassenen en kinderen in een rolstoel een training geven om zelfstandig de wereld in te kunnen. Maar ook bewustwording creëren bij bijvoorbeeld de bestuursleden van gemeenten of ergotherapeuten lessen geven.

Ook ik heb die training gevolgd en ben er een stuk mee opgeschoten. Ik ben minder bang in mijn rolstoel.

Nu is hun kantoor in brand opgegaan, incl materialen en 1000 stripboeken. Dit is echt een ramp voor hen. Buiten dat ze geen plek meer hebben om samen te komen, zijn ze ook trainingsmaterialen kwijt alsmede de stripboeken waarmee ze de kinderen konden bereiken.

Hello everyone, my name is Miranda Slaats. I would like to draw your attention to the Wheelchair Skillsteam. A great team of experts by experience who provide training to other adults and children in wheelchairs to be able to enter the world independently. But also create awareness among, for example, municipal board members or occupational therapists who provide lessons.

I also followed that training and have made a lot of progress with it. I am less afraid in my wheelchair.

Now their office has gone up in flames, including materials and 1000 comic books. This is a real disaster for them. Apart from the fact that they no longer have a place to meet, they have also lost training materials and the comic books with which they could reach the children.
