Help Her Move from a Uhaul to a Home

I am raising funds on behalf of a young woman in Jackson, MS who has lost her housing and been living in a Uhaul truck for the past week and a half. I am hoping to raise enough money for this young woman to pay for a deposit on an apartment so that she can move into a safe place and no longer live out of a Uhaul in a parking lot.

This young woman is kind, loves animals, has about 10 pets herself, and has been feeding and taking care of other cats in the location she used to live prior to this crisis. This person is hard working and not comfortable asking for help typically. She and I met because of our mutual love for all animals!

I have learned as a counselor, that many, many people need help and don't ask for help. Many, many people in Mississippi are one misfortune away from losing housing, job, or their children. Those of us who are more stable financially do not realize how blessed we are and how few people have such luxuries as setting bills on autopay (knowing your bank account will have enough for all the bills to autodraft), extra money to go out to eat with, vacation money for a summer trip to the beach, etc.

All of us will need help one day. Would you consider sharing this story and helping this young woman pay a deposit on an apartment so she can get off the street? Please?
