Helping Helga to Replace her Roof

On the morning of 27th July 2023 Helga Himmelsbach's beloved husband and our friend Jerry O'Connor, met his violent and unnecessary death on the road while travelling to work near Ballyvaughan when he was killed off his motorbike.

On top of her unfathomable grief, Helga has now just found out that she needs a new roof on the house she and Jerry shared together.

Without Jerry by her side, (who would have done half the work himself), she can only raise so much of this enormous and unexpected bill by taking out a loan.

As a result we, friends of both Helga and Jerry, have set up this GoFundMe page to support her in finding the shortfall for this enormous bill.

Highly respected in her community where she has lived and worked for over 30 years, Helga ran the Burren Wellness Centre, near Lisdoonvarna, together with Jerry and now needs our help .

No amount will be too little or too much. Every contribution will be received with deep gratitude.
