Help Helen make her house relivable
On behalf of Helen. We are organizing this gofund me in order to gain the monetary funds necessary to restore her home to livable conditions. Below, from the FB posts of my friend Jesse, you will learn the plight we are on.

Someone has cut out and removed ALL of her copper water MAIN out from under the house. Community Action is aware and we are filling out the application.

I have not been on Facebook for a long while, but this is important.
Tonight I got off work and I saw Helen sitting on our bench outside the Sheriff's Office. She was very cheerful, but upon further inspection I saw that her legs were swollen, purple , and cracked. Her hair matted and unkempt-she appeared homeless.
After speaking with her, she told me the following: two years ago she traveled to Hong Kong to visit family and friends. This was late 2019. As she prepared to come home, COVID struck and all travel was shut down. Long story short-you guessed it-she's been stuck there every since. Returning to Idaho, her home-destroyed from looters, drug addicts, and burglars. Power cut off ( we learned today since 2016), Water cut off ( learned today all the copper piping under the house has been stolen). The reason she was at the Sheriff's Department was to get an ID. Naturally she was turned down because she does not have proof of residency. All mail has been cut off.
She was stranded at the Sheriff's Office and asked me for help. So I took her home. I walked thru the broken down gate to find 2 foot tall weeds in her yard. Several stickers on doors and windows-the kind informing of an abandoned structure.
We had to walk in thru the back door to get in. What I found inside this house was worse that I could have even imagined. ALL her property has been stolen. Clothes, furniture, water fixtures, tables, beds, ALL GONE. What was left was drug paraphenalia, moldy dishes, substances I cannot identify, and a smell that turns a stomach.
If you're still with me, GOD BLESS YOU! I need your help. Helen needs your help. I'm taking tomorrow off work to try and get her power and water turned back on. I will crawl under the house when the water is on to find leaks. Pray for no leaks!
I need laborers to help us clean the house for Helen. Did I mention she is 70 years old. I need pickups that can take loads of trash to the dump. I need cleaning supplies. I need a lawn mower to knock down the jungle. Food will not be a problem, I will get the food bank on board.
I am hoping we can start this weekend. Most of all, Helen needs your prayers.
Perhaps, the most remarkable thing about this entire situation is the light that comes from Helen's heart. She is always glad and cheerful-just as Bill Hayne always encourages us to be. Wow, it blows me away that God blessed me with a new friend today.
